Product Description:

The Bonsai Jack Succulent and Cactus Soil Mix is a gritty, fast-draining potting soil blend formulated specifically for the needs of over 30,000 species of succulents and cacti. Comprised of 1 part each of Bonsai Block (1/4 inch ball clay), Monto Clay (1/4 inch montmorillonite clay), and Pine Coir (unscreened pine bark ranging from dust to 3/8ths inch), this soil mix is free of any additives or dyes.

Intended Use:

This gritty mix is well-suited for the majority of succulent and cactus plants, but may not be the best fit for standard houseplants, Thanksgiving cactus, Christmas cactus, Ponytail palm, snake plant, and some string-of-xxx type succulents in most growing zones.

Instructions:

To use, carefully remove as much of the old potting soil as possible without damaging the plant's roots. Position the plant with one hand and pour the new soil around and into the container to secure it. Water thoroughly the first time, then only water when the soil is completely dry. If the old soil was also a gritty mix, slip-potting is acceptable. Fines are an important component and should not be removed.
